Prometeia participates and delivers a presentation in the panel Financial Risk and Expanding Public Debt on November 2nd at SAIS Europe Johns Hopkins University, Bologna.
The panel belongs to the 2017 SAIS Global Risk Conference, organized with the support of the Master of Arts in Global Risk (MAGR) that SAIS introduced two years ago. The conference was established as an opportunity for MA students and other special guests from the European financial and policy community to be exposed to the latest policy debate informed by sound research in the social sciences.
This panel, hosted by Professor Filippo Taddei, is an opportunity to discuss what challenges to global stability come from the financial sector today. Asset overvaluation and bubbles, fiscal capacity and public debt are probably the major challenges when we think about the phasing out of the current monetary policy stance worldwide.
