Privacy information notice for candidates

In compliance with articles 13 and 14 of the EU Regulation no. 679/2016 ("GDPR") and the subsequent national legislation (together with the GDPR "Applicable Privacy Law"), Prometeia S.p.A. - Via Guglielmo Marconi, 43 - 40122 Bologna, in its role as Data Controller (hereinafter, "Prometeia" or the "Data Controller"), provides you with the following information. 

The personal data contained in your curriculum vitae will be processed with automated and non-automated tools to assess the possibility of your collaboration or employment with Prometeia.

We also inform you that Prometeia may also collect personal data concerning you - always strictly related to the evaluation of your possible employment (identification and contact data, information relating to your studies and professional career) - directly from publicly accessible sources (for example, LinkedIn) or from third companies specialized in the search and selection of personnel on behalf of third parties.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data for the purposes described above is represented by the legitimate interest of Prometeia, which consists in the selection of candidates consistent with the needs of the Owner and having an adequate level of preparation with respect to the profile being searched.

We inform you that the provision of your personal data is necessary to be able to consider your application and failure to indicate the latter may preclude this process. We ask you to include in your curriculum vitae only the data necessary to evaluate your profile and to refrain from indicating particular categories of data such as, for example, those relating to your state of health, religious beliefs or political opinions. In the event, however, that the selection also requires the processing of certain special categories of personal data, this will be done within the limits of what is strictly necessary for the assessment of your professional position and the legal basis for the processing must be the need for Prometeia to meet its obligations in the field of employment law and social security, on the basis of the provisions of the applicable legislation and / or the collective agreement of reference.

Your personal data will be kept for a maximum period of 36 months from the date of receipt of your curriculum vitae, or from that of the last update of the same communicated by you. 

Your personal data will be processed by employees and collaborators of Prometeia who deal with the selection of personnel, duly appointed and instructed on the precautions to be taken in the light of the Applicable Privacy Policy, and may be disclosed to third parties, appointed as data processors, who provide services ancillary or instrumental to the activities of Prometeia. Your personal data may also be communicated, due to the legitimate interest of the Owner, to Prometeia Advisor SIM S.p.a., Via Guglielmo Marconi, 43, 40122 Bologna, a company belonging to the same group of companies as the Owner, in order to assess the possibility of collaboration or employment. The data will not be disclosed in any way.

We inform you that by sending a request to the e-mail address You may exercise the rights granted by the Applicable Privacy Policy, including the right to (i) obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed and, in this case, obtain access to your personal data - including a copy thereof - and the communication, among others, of the following information: purposes of processing, categories of personal data processed, recipients to whom they have been or will be communicated, storage period of data, (right of access - Article 15 of the GDPR); (ii) obtain, without undue delay, the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and/or the integration of incomplete personal data (right of rectification - Article 16 of the GDPR); (iii) obtain, without undue delay, the deletion of personal data concerning you (right to erasure - Article 17 of the GDPR); (iv) obtain the limitation of processing (right of restriction of processing - Article 18 of the GDPR); (v) obtain the limitation of processing - Article 18 of the GDPR); (v) receive in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device, personal data concerning you, transmit them to another holder without hindrance and, where technically feasible, obtain that their personal data be transmitted directly from Prometeia to another holder, if the processing is based on consent and is carried out by automated means (right to data portability - Article 20 of the GDPR); (vi) oppose the processing at any time, for reasons related to their situation (right of objection - Article 21 of the GDPR). If you exercise this right, Prometeia will refrain from further processing your personal data, provided that there are no compelling legitimate reasons to proceed with the processing; and (vii) lodge a complaint to the Guarantor Authority for the Protection of Personal Data ( or to the Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (GDPR).
