Prometeia adheres to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact

Prometeia is committed to making the United Nations Global Compact and its principles part of its strategy, culture and day-to-day operations, and to engaging in collaborative projects which advance the broader development goals of the United Nations, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals.

The UN Global Compact – the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative – sets the principles that should affect a corporation’s value system and steer businesses toward meeting the fundamental responsibilities in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

Becoming part of the United Nations Global Compact network, Prometeia has joined more than 9.000 companies, from 161 different countries, that are creating together a reality of global collaboration.

As part of its official participation, Prometeia will disclose every year any relevant policies, procedures, activities it has taken or plans to undertake in each of the four focus areas (human rights, labour, environment, anti-corruption) and to measure the relative outcomes (i.e. the degree to which targets/performance indicators were met, or other qualitative or quantitative measurements of results) through its Annual Sustainability Report, which will be published for the first time in 2019.

“We are very proud to support this initiative. Our business has always been principles-based. We’ll do whatever we can to ensure these values are undoubtedly supported by our stakeholders,” says Angelo Tantazzi, Chairman of Prometeia.
