Among the European leaders in Enterprise Risk Management and Wealth & Asset Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for a native English Speaking Senior Consultant to join our Wealth and Asset Management team.

MAIN TASKS:

As one of our Junior Consultants, you will join the Wealth Management team to support the entire lifecycle of consulting and advisory platform delivery projects, from pre-sale through analysis and integration all the way to certification and subsequent client support. You’ll help design and deliver business critical processes and platforms at some of Europe’s leading financial institutions, and be involved in important projects from beginning to end. Working day to day with leaders in the field, you will develop a deep expertise in Wealth Management, including:

The business of financial advisory and the service models being applied at leading institutions
Qualitative and quantitative processes behind advisory services
Regulatory frameworks governing advisory services and the strategies used to ensure compliance
Financial products on which advisory offers are founded
The software platforms which support advisory operations day to day
The data which feed advisory processes

Furthermore, you will develop high-level cross functional skills in a range of areas, such as:

Project management
Client management
Marketing
Pre-sale activities
Functional analysis

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience of at least 3/6 years in management consulting firms or in the Asset Management, Wealth Management/Private Banking areas of financial intermediaries and asset management companies.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in economics/finance, engineering or a related quantitative discipline, with top marks. Proficiency in MS Office is required.

SOFT SKILLS:

The role is based at the Prometeia headquarters in Bologna, Italy, however the principal focus will be on projects elsewhere in Europe. As such, a working knowledge of Italian would also be of benefit, but is not strictly required.

A keen interest to learn about the business of wealth management, including the financial products, software, data and processes which drive it, is essential. Adaptability is also key, as are good analytical problem solving , communication, and organizational skills. Projects are always executed in cross-functional teams, so a capacity to work well with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds is expected.
