Service Model Innovation

Service models are the frameworks within which wealth managers offer services to their clients. They define the value proposition for the client, the business case for the manager, and provide the guiding context within which operational processes are built and executed.  Many wealth managers differentiate the service models they offer to their clients based on a variety of factors such as client segment (retail, private, HNWI, UHNWI,...), remuneration structure (commission based, fee based, ...), scope of the advisory service (just financial investments or extended to real estate, inheritance, insurance, retirement, etc.), or delivery channel and device (desktop, tablet, smartphone, etc.)
Service models are the foundation of advisory, and their design is therefore pivotal for creating a distinctive, compliant and sustainable wealth management service
