Europe: risks and opportunities

31 March 2017

All eyes are on Europe in 2017. Europe is one of the largest markets in the world, but apparently is still subject to adolescent crises. The coming elections in the main euro area countries, together with the start of the negotiations to define Brexit and the stance of the new US administration toward Europe, are all sources of uncertainty. At the same time substantial progress has been made to strengthen the banking union and to prepare the next steps towards completing the monetary union.

Prometeia will discuss these issues with representatives of the ECB, European Commission and of the Washington-based Atlantic Council.

The event will take place right after the presentation of Prometeia's March 2017 edition of the Quarterly Economic Outlook.
